For our first blog, we thought it would be fitting to share a little about ourselves, the place we call home and our business.

We are the Carpenter family.

I'm Len. My sweet wife is Anita and together we have three wonderful children, Traci and Matt and Tristen.

Our home is the beautiful island of Kodiak, Alaska. It is second largest island is the US and is famous for the largest brown bear subspecies in the world.

Together with our sons, we own and operate two commercial fishing vessels and sell our catch directly to families across the United States.

We have fished commercially out of Kodiak for over 35 years, starting as greenhorns and working our way up the ladder. After a decade of working as crew, we purchased our first fishing vessel the Fish Tale.
