If successful, will allow us to outfit our larger vessel with processing equipment, including a hatch-mounted blast freezer so we can process and freeze our catch at sea.

Currently, the biggest challenge and threat to our business is getting our catch filleted, packaged, and frozen. Seafood processed in Alaska must be done in a licensed, inspected facility, and we are entirely reliant on other businesses for this service.

At this time, there is only one facility in Kodiak that provides custom-processing to independent fishermen. This is a very small processing plant with a limited workforce, and often they are unable to process our catch, especially during the very busy summer months. This leaves us in the precarious position of having insufficient inventory to offer our customers through the summer and early fall and the loss of sales and revenue results.

Processing our catch at sea allows us full control over our product. From the time it is harvested until it's shipped to your doorstep, it is entirely in our hands.

Eliminates our dependence on shoreside custom-processors.

Reduces our operational and processing costs.

With your help, we can achieve our goal of providing families across the US with incredible, healthy seafood, sourced directly from us, the fishermen who harvest, process, and ship it.
